MESH deal with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) for companies large and small throughout the UK.
The HSE have a legal right to, without prior warning, enter the premises of any company and carry out an inspection to determine the effectiveness of the company’s health and safety systems.
The HSE can either issue improvement notices or prohibition notices. Improvement notices are issued when the HSE see something that is unsafe and a deadline is given to achieve the target set. If the HSE see something that presents serious and imminent danger then they can issue a prohibition notice that could stop a process or even close down a site.
If you’ve had a visit from the HSE then we can help you to understand their requirements and advise how to make the necessary improvements within the deadline set.

Obviously though, it’s in all companies interest to be pro-active and avoid the necessity to be on the receiving end of HSE notices, so please do contact us for a confidential no-obligation discussion of how our services can help you
