Fee for Intervention: what does it mean to your business?

A quick summary of why you should talk to MESH

From the 1st October 2012 the HSE introduced the Fee for Intervention scheme (FFI) . The HSE and the government have said that they believe it is right that businesses that break health and safety laws should pay for HSE’s time in putting matters right (at a rate of £124 per hour). This includes any investigating, taking enforcement action, and all work involved in ensuring the business achieves suitable compliance.
