About IOSH Managing Safely
MESH Consultants work closely with our sister company, MESH-4-Safety who are accredited to provide IOSH Managing Safely training.
Managers and supervisors from any business sector will find the IOSH Managing Safely course helps them get up to speed on the actions they need to take to handle the Health & Safety issues in their teams. As a nationally-accredited training course, IOSH offers you a fantastic way of ensuring you are competent in all areas of Health & Safety at work. Successful candidates, of which we have a 100% high pass rate, will receive an IOSH certificate.
We understand that while it's important and sometimes essential to complete a nationally-recognised health & safety course, not everyone can justify four full days out of the working environment. As a result, we offer the IOSH Managing Safely course in a day-release format as well as the four day block format.
By the end of the training delegates will be able to:
- Apply basic management principles and practices to Health and Safety issues;
- Set practical Health and Safety objectives and be able to plan and implement means of achieving those objectives;
- Recognise risks present in the workplace and set appropriate control measures;
- Take account of risks posed by human factors;
- Ensure that adequate information, instruction, training and supervision is provided within the workplace;
- Investigate all incidents involving injury or damage in order to determine the causes and to take appropriate remedial actions;
- Communicate effectively on Health and Safety issues with superiors, employees, and Health and Safety professionals;
- Understand the main legal requirements of employers and managers and to act to fulfil these obligations

Costs
Public IOSH courses are priced at £597.50 per delegate and there are a maximum of 8 delegates on each course.
In-house IOSH courses are priced on application (so please do contact us with your requirements) but generally are priced in the region of £2,975 for up to 10 delegates. This provides a highly competitive price of £297.50 per delegate.
