A quick summary of why you should talk to MESH

It concerns us that because the law requires people to be trained in health and safety that some still think it acceptable to deliver poor quality uninspiring training. Its time to make sure that health and safety training is seen as more than the obligatory tick in the box. At MESH we guarantee our training will change your employees thinking.

If you are going to spend good money then it’s important that your staff remember the message. Surely if your business is going to invest in Risk Assessment training then you should expect it to deliver a good investment and to make a positive impact on your business as it moves forwards.

Excellent delivered risk assessment training; this has provided real direction for our staff to take our risk and COSHH assessments forwards.

 Clive Balcombe, Facilities Manager, Vantia

About Risk Assessment Training

Image for this page

Risk management involves you, the employer, looking at the risks that arise in your workplace and then putting sensible health and safety measures in place to control your risks. By doing this you can protect your most valuable asset, your employees, as well as members of the public from harm.

A risk assessment is an important step in protecting your workers and your business, as well as complying with the law. It helps you focus on the risks that really matter in your workplace – the ones with the potential to cause real harm.

In many instances, straightforward measures can readily control risks, for example ensuring spillages are cleaned up promptly so people do not slip, or cupboard drawers are kept closed to ensure people do not trip. For most, that means simple, cheap and effective measures to ensure your most valuable asset – your workforce – is protected. Of course doing this well will also protect your business.

What we provide is legislative Risk Assessment training compliance, which is a fundamental requirement placed upon all businesses no matter what size or industry type.

Costs of training companies in risk assessment will vary depending on the the numbers of staff to be trained and the location of the training. Another cost consideration is the amount of pre-course preparation that is needed to tailor a course.

As a guideline, fees for delivering a  training course in risk assessment starts from as little as £375 for a half day course and £595 for a one day course to develop the required level of competence in staff to meet the individual organisations needs.

We believe our pricing is very competitive but we don't compromise on quality and you can be assured that our training will prove to be a benefit to your business.  We would expect you to shop around for quotations but would encourage you to check what level of service is being provided.  Ask yourself whether you are getting a training course that will make a long-term difference to the health and safety of your staff and your business.  If in any doubt, please do contact us without obligation.
