This is the ethos of our training team when delivering the NEBOSH National General Certificate in health and safety.

Of those that we have trained over the past two years, more than 90% have achieved a Credit or Distinction and 100% have achieved a pass.

What we believe this demonstrates is that you need to set a high benchmark for the students to attain and in doing so allows us to provide the unique pass guarantee that no other health and safety training provider offers.

After all, a NEBOSH pass only requires a student to achieve a minimum of 45% in each of the 3 exam papers they sit; which across the country many still fail to achieve.  The national pass rate usually sits around 67%.  What this tells us is that many students don`t receive the same high level of tuition that we provide.

It also makes us think about how many health and safety professionals know only half of what the law requires; yet have the qualifications to practice in health and safety.  Of course, knowledge in the exam is only part of it because when working they can refer to a whole plethora of guidance etc.

But we do feel receiving that in the first instance, the right base training will go a long way to developing a safety practitioners competence going forwards.
