What motivates your employees?

  • Home
  • Attitude toward Health and Safety

October 14, 2015

Have you stopped to think about what motivates your employees?  For many businesses the answer would obviously be “yes” but for many they won’t really know what the answer is.

If you then apply this to health & safety within your business, have you asked your employees what they think about health & safety and the way your business manages this?  Maybe you have but for many this is not a question that is either easily asked or answered; however it is really important to know.

Only when a business knows the answers to such questions can it really embark on a drive to elevate its health & safety to a point where it almost manages itself.  This is because when all in the business see health & safety as a key driver of future prosperity they will accept responsibility and accountability for their actions.

Developing such a culture is not an easy journey but the results can help to make you sleep much easier.

Does this sound like a position that you would want your business to achieve?    If yes then you need a plan that will include clear direction from management, training, employee involvement, setting up systems and competent Health & Safety advice.   If you need directional pointers or more in-depth support then why not talk to our team at MESH.
