MESH were commissioned to review the health and safety systems across a number of government departments within the Welsh Assembly. The process involved MESH arranging a series of interviews with key personnel at various levels within the Welsh Assembly Government.
Senior staff in each department were interviewed and asked to provide evidence of how health and safety was being managed throughout their area of responsibility. These interviews were then followed up by undertaking both a paper trail review and by visiting various locations to gather evidence.
Finally, detailed reports were submitted to the health and safety department of the Welsh Assembly Government.
