The company uses four main moulding processes that are similar in that they all produce a composite moulding incorporating a resin matrix and glass fibres. The main raw material compounds in use are resins, gel coats and flow coats and are classified as flammable.
Our survey included a full review of the site operations and storage of hazardous substances and identified to the company where improvements should be considered. These were incorporated into an action plan for the company to consider with timelines set relevant to the risk levels found.
