Chemring Countermeasures Ltd based at the High Post Site near Salisbury, is the base of the UK countermeasures operations of Chemring Group PLC.
Chemring Countermeasures Ltd is a world leader in providing expendable IR and RF decoys to protect military aircraft and ships from being identified by a variety of sensors, threats and missiles.
The work undertaken by MESH required a number of consultant days on site to review the general understanding and compliance with PUWER throughout the operations at the Salisbury site.
The project included an undertaking to supply not only a report of the findings and recommendations by MESH but also the delivery of suitable PUWER assessments to direct management to where the improvements should be addressed.
In total MESH completed and delivered 390 PUWER assessments on behalf of the company.
