Our consultant spent a number of days on the Manchester site to go through what they used, how they used it and what controls were already in place. Time was spent talking to key personnel to build an understanding of what systems and procedures were in place to control COSHH risks.
From this we were able to provide an overview of COSHH compliance and to develop a set of around 100 COSHH compliant assessments that could be distributed to the relevant areas on the site.
For easy reference a spreadsheet of the hazardous substances and COSHH assessments was provided to Kellogg`s. This work enabled the health and safety team to focus on managing other health and safety priorities.
