Pall Newquay are based in St Columb, Cornwall and are a subsidiary of the Pall Corporation providing total fluid management products and systems to meet the demanding needs of customers in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, transfusion medicine, energy, electronics, municipal and industrial water purification, aerospace, transportation and broad industrial markets.
The key objective of this visit was to review operations on site subject to duties within the Dangerous Substances Explosive Atmosphere Regulations (DSEAR) – and to comment on relevant hazards and control measures employed at the site. Supporting information was provided by Peter Simpson, the site Health, Safety and Environment Officer, maintenance personnel and other staff members as necessary.
