The company had asked for its noise survey to be updated as the previous one had been some time before and the Noise at Work Regulations 2005 suggest the survey is updated every 3 years.
The noise survey undertaken identified to the company that many of its operations either fell below the Noise at Work first action level or within the first action level. There were some operations where staff could be more at risk and these were all covered in the improvement actions recommended.
