MESH Consultants were contracted to conduct a review of relevant manufacturing equipment at the Rugby site to check compliance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
The site houses a wide range of engineering equipment used in the manufacture of Aerospace components. The survey undertaken helped to identify if and where improvements could be achieved. Additionally where non-compliance was identified on the assessment of a piece of equipment, a recommendation was suggested for either modification or further action to change the risk.
