The HSE Manager for ACG Manchester required assistance with a DSEAR assessment on their GRP processes. The Manchester site includes in its production the use of several composite materials for a wide client base and specific market applications.
The assessment focussed mainly upon the manual dispensing and mixing of raw materials in the resin room and application / drying of composite materials in the machine shop. Additionally the storage areas of the site were reviewed.
The assessment required specialist knowledge and a detailed report to enable the business to target ongoing improvements; the management team were grateful for this input.
